UZUNI SCORES HAT TRICK AS AUSTIN FC DEFEATS PUEBLA

Austin, TEXAS (August 9, 2026) – Myrto Uzuni scored the second hat trick in Club history as Austin FC cruised to a 3-0 win over Club Puebla in Leagues Cup action on Sunday night at Q2 Stadium.

It took Uzuni just 34 minutes to net the second hat trick in Club history. He scored twice in the opening seven minutes, the first a direct free kick and the second set up by a clever pass from Christian Ramirez. He added a third with a terrific full volley off a corner kick delivered by Facundo Torres.

Neither side found the net in the second half as the Verde & Black put themselves in a strong position to qualify for the knockout rounds heading into their final match of Leagues Cup Phase One on Thursday.
