The wait to find out which teams will play where at the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ is nearly over.
Every group-stage matchup — and potential knockout-stage pathways — will be revealed during the Final Draw for the FIFA World Cup 26™, taking place on December 5 at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino and U.S. President Donald J. Trump are expected to be among the dignitaries attending the highly anticipated event, which will have millions of fans around the world waiting to see how the draw unfolds.
The draw will begin at 12:00 p.m. local time (Eastern, U.S.) and will be broadcast live across the three host nations — the United States, Canada, and Mexico — as well as globally via FIFA’s media partners.
Further details on the draw, including broadcast information and complete procedural guidelines, will be announced on FIFA.com in due course.
As previously confirmed, the teams representing the host nations will occupy the following positions in the group stage: A1 (Mexico), B1 (Canada), and D1 (United States), in accordance with the official match schedule released last year.
