HOUSTON — The City of Houston will host seven games during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
FIFA announced the match schedule for the tournament with a worldwide broadcast on Sunday. Houston was revealed to host five group stage matches and knockout encounters in the Round of 32 and Round of 16 stages.
The 2026 edition will be the biggest version of soccer’s most prestigious competition with 104 games featuring 48 teams. The United States will host alongside Canada and Mexico with 16 host cities across North America.
What World Cup games will be played in Houston?
NRG Stadium (known as “Houston Stadium” during the 2026 World Cup) will host the following matches:
- Match 10 – Saturday, June 14
- Match 23 – Wednesday, June 17
- Match 35 – Friday, June 19
- Match 47 – Monday, June 22
- Match 65 – Friday, June 26
- Match 76 – Monday, June 29
- Match 90 – Saturday, July 4
