NEW YORK – The National Women’s Soccer League has unveiled a newly-designed championship trophy in partnership with the renowned luxury brand Tiffany & Co.

Undergoing its first redesign since the league began play in 2013, the redesigned Championship trophy features 24K gold vermeil and sterling silver to give the NWSL trophy a major league feel. Tiffany & Co. is also the maker of the Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Finals, and MLS Cup trophies among others.

“This new partnership with Tiffany & Co. is significant not just for our league, but for women’s sports as a whole. Our ability to partner with iconic brands like Tiffany reinforces the remarkable athletes who play in the NWSL. Their influence both on and off the field is deserving of a top-tier trophy and we’re grateful to our partners at Tiffany & Co. for their invaluable collaboration in creating a prize befitting the best women’s soccer league in the world. We look forward to our continued partnership as we collaborate on reimagining the rest of our end-of-year awards, including the NWSL Shield.”

NWSL Chief Marketing & Commercial Officer Julie Haddon

The new trophy will make its official debut at the upcoming NWSL Championship on Saturday, November 11, at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, California. Tickets for the match are available by visiting nwslsoccer.com/championship.

In addition to the Championship trophy, Tiffany & Co. also collaborated with the league on the redesign of its regular season MVP trophy, awarded to the league’s top performer in 2023, and beginning next season, will work with the NWSL to re-envision and create the remaining end-of-year awards.
